the Hasidim have taken seriously. — A sect that is capable of such self-denial and enthusiasm must yet be based on something other than crudeness and ignorance.
The second is that of the partageurs, of the rabble, of the עמ הארץ, who wants to share with the rich in order to switch roles for once. The third is the view of the Hasid, who says: what is mine is yours, without coveting the property of others. The opposite moral is that of the wicked one (רשע).

211 haben die Chasidäer Emst gemacht. — Einer Sefte, die folcher Selbstverleugnung und Begeifterung fähig ift, muß doch noch etwas Anderes, als Rohheit und Unwiffenheit zu Grunde liegen. zweite ift die der **partageurs**, des Pöbels, des עמ הארץ, der mit den Reichen theilen will, um die Rollen auch einmal zu wechſeln. Die dntte ift die Anſicht des Chasits, welcher ſagt: das Meinige ift das Deinige, ohne fremdes Eigenthum zu begehren. Die entgegen geſetzte Moral ift die des Verruchten (רשע).
