It is necessary to establish a Jewish army officially, and not a lone battalion within the British Army; it is necessary to give it the opportunity to reach a number of 100,000, at the very least. And it is necessary that this army fight on all the Allied fronts, in order to affirm the independence that some nations would wish to forget – for the war of the Jews is just like the war of Britain, France, and Poland.

There is no need to prove and compose the thousand detailed arguments that the establishment of a Jewish army, as long as there is not yet a Jewish state nor a Jewish treasury to sustain it, is an unusual and "impossible" phenomenon. All the arguments are worthless. Unusual—yes; "impossible"?—all empty words. All the known objections—merely a lack of Jewish generals, or even officers, and in particular an officer corps, to establish the army in its full composition. Initially, the Jewish army will be one hundred percent Jewish only in its composition of privates. But for this benefit alone, it would be worth committing the Jewish army under great and immense conditions and to instill a great, existing uplifting of spirit.

There is only one question: whether there is a need at the front for 100,000 soldiers, a necessary reinforcement. Their number would be much larger; and if there is a need for them, then the best way to obtain the maximum number of volunteers, and to ensure that these volunteers are prepared to sacrifice and ready for the maximum effort, is through a solution to the "treasury" question. If 100,000 soldiers are needed, then an even larger number will be accepted.

However, here is the solution, small and decent at once. The initial expense will be very small, if the recruits receive the promise that was given: It is true that the Jewish front is not yet profitable, but the way of it is that a Jew does not fight for no reason; he fights for the sake of honor. He serves with the dignity of men and for the sake of countries with tireless devotion—all his actions, the honor, and the settlement on all fronts. The establishment of a Jewish army will cause a possible mobilization of the funds for this force in a way that will help, such that no one will be able to ignore it. It is possible that this force will be of help.
