Eure Kapitalien werden jene unfruchtbaren Länderstrecken wieder anbauen, Eure Arbeit und Industne jenen Boden wieder grünen machen, über den die Wüste ihren Sand hingeweht hat – und die Welt wird dem ältesten der Völker ihre Bewunderung zollen. Der Augenblick ist für Euch gekommen, Euer Vaterland, das bis jeßt von der Türkei in den Staub getreten worden, wieder zu reklamiren, sei es auf dem fnedlichen Wege der Entschädigung, oder auf jedem andem Wege. Ihr habt hinlänglich dazu beigetragen, die Völker zu civilisiren, Europa auf die Bahn des Fortschntts zu bnngen, Revolutionen zu machen und zu begünstigen – Ihr dürft fortan an Euch selbst denken, an die Thäler des Libanon, an die großen Ebenen von Genezareth. Schreitet voran! Bei Eurem Verjüngungswerke werden unsre Herzen Euch folgen, unsre Armeen Euch helfend zur Seite stehen! Schreitet voran, Juden aus allen Ländem! das alte Vaterland ruft Euch, und wir werden stolz darauf sein, Euch seine Thore zu öffnen. Schreitet voran, Söhne der Märtyrer! Wie schnell wird unter dem Geseße der Arbeit die Entnervung der Racen dort schwinden, wo Wollust und Müßiggang und Raub ihre tausendjähnge Herrschaft hatten!
