Only completely incurable chauvinists still speak today of an Aryan race, and for the expert, the concept of an Aryan skull shape is just as absurd as if one were to speak of a dolicho- cephalic language.”
It is now established today that the linguistic connection can no longer be considered an indicator of anthropological connection.
With the fall of the long-dominant Indo-Germanic theory, which will be explained in more detail in the following, the identity of certain innate cardinal racial characteristics of the Aryan family, allegedly based on blood kinship, from which Renan, Dühring, etc., proceed, must also disappear. With that, all conclusions connected to it also fall, where these are not based on other factors.
But the elimination of the Aryan theory is not enough. For the leaders of the political-anthropological school have, as a precaution, constructed a special Germanic race theory within the Aryan one and have given it such a scope that it can very well substitute for the Aryan theory even after its fall.
The political anthropologists teach: It is clear that, for example, Persians and Scandinavians, who are both considered typical Aryans, cannot be anthropologically related. The linguistic relationship is explained in the following way: At some time, somewhere, be it on the Oxus, or on the Volga, or in Scandinavia, or on the Arctogaea that sank into the sea, there really was a pure, uniform Aryan race. As a result of overpopulation, this race sent waves of people to the south with a certain periodicity. These came to Italy, Greece, Persia, and India and subjugated the cultureless native population there. Their language they brought with them, and this explains the linguistic connections between such disparate peoples. In addition, they also brought their high capacity for culture to the south: through this alone did these countries achieve such a high cultural level.

6 Urform ſich auch einen raſſeureinen Urarjer vorzustellen, hat längst reiferen Anschauungen Platz gemacht. Nur ganz unheil- bare Chauvinisten reden heute noch von einer anschen Raſſe und für den Fachmann ist der Begnff einer anschen Schädel- form genau ſo abſurd, als wenn man etwa von einer dolicho- cephalen Sprache reden wollte“. Es steht eben heute fest, daß der linguvistische Zuſammen- hang nicht mehr als Indikator für den anthropologischen Zu- ſammenhang gelten kann. Mit dem Falle der ſeit langem herrschenden Indogermanen- theone, der im folgenden noch genauer darzulegen ſein wird, muß auch die angeblich in der Verwandtschaft des Blutes be- gründete Identität von gewiſſen angeboren kardinalen Raſſen- eigenschaften der anschen Familie schwinden, von denen Renan, Dühnng uſw. ausgehen. Damit fallen auch alle daran ge- knüpften Folgerungen, wo dieſe nicht auf andere Momente ſich stützen. Aber mit der Beſeitigung der Anerstheone ist es nicht getan. Denn die Führer der politisch-anthropologischen Schule haben vorbauend innerhalb der anschen eine spezielle germa- nische Raſſentheone konstruiert und derſelben einen ſolchen Umfang gegeben, daß ſie auch nach dem Falle der Anerstheone dieſelbe ganz gut ſubstituieren kann. Die politischen Anthropologen dozieren: Es ist klar, daß zum Beispiel Perſer und Skandinavier, welche beide als typische Aner gelten, anthropologisch nicht verwandt ſein kön- nen. Die Sprachverwandtschaft erklärte ſich auf folgende Weiſe: In irgend einer Zeit hat es einmal irgendwo, ſei es am Oxus, oder an der Wolga, oder in Skandinavien, oder auf der ins Meer geſunkenen Arktogäa, wirklich eine reine, einheitliche ansche Raſſe gegeben. Infolge von Übervölkerung entſandte dieſe mit einer gewiſſen Penodizität Völkerwellen nach dem Süden. Dieſe kamen nach Italien, Gnechenland, Perſien und Indien und unterjochten dort die kulturloſe Urbevölkerung. Ihre Sprache brachten ſie mit und daraus erklären ſich die sprach- lichen Zuſammenhänge zwischen ſo disparaten Völkem. Außer- dem brachten ſie noch ihre hohe Kulturfähigkeit nach dem Sü- den: dadurch allein brachten es dieſe Länder kulturell ſo hoch.
