The achievements of the xanthochroic peoples are for the most part the creative accomplishments of modern culture, in which, of the Melanochroi, only the Romance peoples and the Jews have also participated.
It does not occur to us, however, to actually make this juxtaposition a basis for the comparison of cultural values, since we do not share the views presented thus far on the significance of the racial factor for cultural history and since we also do not fail to recognize how much is hypothetical in the divi- sion into Melanochroi and Xanthochroi, especially regarding the Greeks and Romans, contained within it — even if we consider this hypothetical element to be very valuable for discussion. ══════════════════════════════════════════════════ Zollschau, The Race Problem, 3rd Ed. 10

Die Leistungen der xanthochroen Völker sind zum grö- ßeren Teil die schöpfenschen Errungenschaften der modemen Kultur, an der von den Melanochroen nur die Romanen und die Juden noch mitgearbeitet haben.
