Learn to distinguish! That is the watchword! For this God gave us senses, that we should examine what is good and what is evil. Only through separating and distinguishing do things proceed on the path of perfection. To see all things as equal is to teach dullness and confusion.
Equal rights presuppose equal duties. He who does not work honestly, but seeks his advantage in deceit, how can such a one demand rights? The unclean has no right to sit at the table of the clean!
Who has seen two things that were completely alike? And yet all men are supposed to be equal? Truly, a greater lie was never proclaimed! — They tell fables of the "spiritual unity of the entire human race," and yet I have not found two who completely understood each other! — He who teaches equality, teaches deceit and delusion.
All different are humans in body and blood, in mental disposition and inclination of the heart, in temperament and character; one can well speak of kinship, but not of equality!
