limited: only to their own kind. They form the most arrogant and exclusive aristocracy, but an aristocracy of filthy materialism, not of higher qualities.
And this exclusivity is such an essential component of their contract with God — the actual prerequisite and foundation of it — that it is not possible for the Jew, without a break with himself and his God, to recognize non-Jewish members of the community as equals without reservation.
God says to Isaac in Genesis 26:3: “Sojourn in this land, and I will be with you and bless you,” and it says in Deuteronomy 17, 15: “But you shall set one from among your brethren as king over you, you cannot set any foreigner, who is not your brother, over you.”
“If, therefore, the German state is the personification of the German people, then the Jews living in Germany belong as little to the German state as the tapeworm belongs to the person of the patient. They are only German-speaking Jews, not Jewish Germans.
Then the people will not let themselves be led astray by any arts, however brazen. And as long as they are not considered by the Germans to be their own kind, but rather as Jews, their inclusion in the German state must injure the national sentiment of the Germans and undermine the confidence of moral community

Und diese Ausschließlichkeit ist ein so wesentlicher Bestandtheil ihres Gottes-Vertrages — die eigentliche Voraussetzung und Grundlage desselben — daß es ohne einen Bruch mit sich und seinem Gott dem Juden nicht möglich ist, nichtjüdische Gemeindeglieder ohne Rückhalt als gleichberechtigt anzuerkennen. Gott sagt zu Isaak 1. Mose 26, 3: „Sei ein Fremdling in diesem Lande, und ich will mit Dir sein und Dich segnen“, und es heißt 5. Mose 17, 15: „Du sollst aber aus Deinen Brüdem einen zum Könige über Dich setzen, Du kannst nicht irgend einen Fremden, der nicht Dein Bruder ist, über Dich sehen.““ „Wenn also der deutsche Staat die Personification des deutschen Volkes ist, so gehören die in Deutschland lebenden Juden so wenig zum deutschen Staate, als der Bandwurm zur Person des Patienten. Sie sind nur deutschredende Juden, nicht jüdische Deutsche. Dann wird sich das Volk durch noch so dreiste Künste nicht irre machen lassen. Und so lange sie von den Deutschen nicht für Ihresgleichen, sondem für Juden gehalten werden, muß durch ihr Hereinziehen in das deutsche Staatswesen das Nationalgefühl der Deutschen verletzt und die Zuversicht sittlicher Gemeinschaft untergraben
