The nobility is being debased from another side as well: — through the ennoblement of Jews.
The furiously progressing intermingling of noble and princely circles with the Jewish financial swindlers completely knocks the bottom out of the state barrel:
There is no more revolutionary undertaking than this. — Prince, Jew, and Nobleman arm in arm: that must shatter the last remnant of trust in the people.
One could do nothing worse to the kingdom and the monarchy than this. People search for the sources of revolutionary ideas: Here they are!
Just as deluded clergymen work towards the ruin of Christianity through the baptism of Jews, so the ennoblement of Jews systematically undermines the last credit of the "monarchy by the grace of God." — The instinct of the people knows it: Whatever intermingles with Jews is — rotten!
The "ruling classes," which have lost their moral foundation, are working diligently on their self-humiliation and self-destruction. The peasant and the craftsman still have enough morality and sense of honor not to tolerate the Jew as an equal among them; the nobility and the clergy have largely lost this awareness! —

- 274 - Maßstab bilden und Sitte und Ehre sagenhafte Begnffe sind. Noch von anderer Seite arbeitet man an der Entwürdigung des Adels: — durch Juden-Adelungen. Die rasend fortschreitende Verquickung adliger und fürstlicher Kreise mit dem jüdischen Finanz-Gaunerthum schlägt dem Staats-Faß vollends den Boden aus: Es giebt kein revolutionäreres Beginnen als dieses. — Fürst, Jude und Adel Arm in Arm: das muß den letzten Rest von Vertrauen im Volke erschüttem. Man konnte dem Königthum und der Monarchie nichts Schlimmeres anthun als dies. Man sucht nach den Quellen der revolutionären Ideen: Hier hat man sie! Wie verblendete Geistliche durch die Juden-Taufe auf den Ruin des Chnstenthums hinarbeiten, so untergräbt man durch Juden-Adelungen systematisch den letzten Kredit des „Königthums von Gottes Gnaden“. — Der Instinkt im Volke weiß es: Was sich mit Juden verquickt, ist — faul! Die „herrschenden Klassen“, die den sittlichen Untergrund verloren haben, arbeiten emsig an ihrer Selbst-Emiedngung und Selbst-Vemichtung. Der Bauer und der Handwerker haben noch Sitte und Ehrgefühl genug, um den Juden nicht als ebenbürtig unter sich zu dulden; dem Adel und der Geistlichkeit ist dieses Bewußtsein vielfach abhanden gekommen! —
